UH Digital Media Photobook
Variable Data Technology
The objective was to create a photobook showcasing UH students’ pre-existing photos and utilizing its metadata on photography as an art form, and stick to the UH brand guidelines.
Our team, Gabriela Gonzalez, Victoria Mata, Kola Komolafe and I, designed the booklet in Adobe InDesign and imported the photos and metadata through XMPie while utilizing variable data printing concepts merged with MS-Excel.
We reduced more than half the time it would’ve taken to print a photobook had the information been plugged in manually.
