Kinoo (pronounced: Kee-nuu) is a hub for all my projects, a concoction blended with the sweetest American-Pakistani heritage, and a tangy fusion of art, poetry, culture and history. I was nicknamed "Kinoo", a play on what oranges are called in Pakistan, by friends who thought it fit my disposition – characterized by sweet and sour energy. It also symbolizes the legacy I carry of my heritage more than half way around the world. A born New Yorker, I race through life as an avid explorer. I hop on to my bike, absorb anything meant to be learned, and befriend strangers through my work and welcoming personality.
You’ll find my work spans various media technologies, from print and communication design to podcasting, motion media and eMedia. The common thread that weaves it all together is my love for creative writing, research, and storytelling. I learnt to integrate them with the business of digital media through my Senior Honors Thesis and internships at Houston Public Media and Aurora Picture Show.
I welcome you to my portfolio to ride through some of the streets
paved in my mind.
paved in my mind.
Happy exploring!
